Dark Dining

This sounds like such an interesting concept.
Dining in absolute darkness. Certainly your other senses will be enhanced!
The concept has been around in Europe for awhile. You arrive and pick your menu selections in a lighted room, then you are led by blind or visually impaired wait staff to a BLACK room. Not even a little light, you wont be able to see your hand in front of your face.

Sounds very intriguing!

Michael Mina's latest venture in San Francisco located in the SOMA area.
The atmosphere is great, very downtown chic. Great lighting and lots of comfortable bar seating.
The wine list is fantastic, focusing on the burgundy's.

Though Mama only tried a few nibbles (Squash bloom flat bread, yum!) I am excited to return and dive into the menu.

With lots of young hipsters at the bar - this spot is making a mark and creating it's own scene.
